BMW車款的動態表現之優秀是眾所皆知的，不需多言。新3系列最令人開心的就是iDrive多媒體控制系統的介面全部繁體中文化，不用特地去背英文，更不用忍受簡體中文，誠意十足地令人開心。
好幾個月前BMW總代理汎德已經安排過海外試駕，讓這款新車先在國內媒體上露臉，如今這款新車也終於在台灣正式上市。目前在路上跑的BMW 3系列車款其代號為E90，從2005年起就出現在世人面前，去年BMW德國原廠為3系列進行小改款，除了外型更接近家族設計之外，也使用了最新一代的iDrive多媒體控制系統。雖然整體上沒有大幅度改變，但新款的BMW 323i就是有令人興奮的魅力。
iDrive多媒體控制系統
第二代的iDrive多媒體控制系統是體驗此款323i的重點，一進入座艙就被中控台上下的8.8吋LCD螢幕所吸引，這個螢幕將接手車上大部分的資訊傳達功能，也因為如此，下方的音響與空調系統幾乎省去了LED顯示幕。第二代iDrive多媒體控制系統新增六個按鍵，可以分別直接進入CD、收音機、電話簿與地圖選單，另外還有退出及選項功能鍵，新增按鍵之後原本八向的旋鈕也改為四向。
iDrive上最具誠意的一件事，絕對是整體介面全部繁體中文化，車主們再也不用看著圖示瞎子摸象，猜測選項功能是什麼。地圖模式下，重要的地點也都有中文名稱標示，利用旋鈕以及四方向搖桿可以很容易地瀏覽地圖，如果要跳入音響系統，直接按下CD或是Radio按鍵，畫面馬上切換，省去多餘的操作過程。
小改款外型
小改款後的323i在外型上更顯有神，主要更動的細節包含水箱護罩、前保險桿、頭燈與引擎蓋等處。小改款前的腎形水箱護罩上半部位於引擎蓋之上，採用分離式的設計，小改款後的水箱護罩已經由鍍鉻外框完全包圍，且中央的直瀑隔板也改用鍍鉻色調，整體更顯洗斂。
保險桿的部分將水箱護罩延伸的折線部分處理的更明顯，霧燈位置與下氣壩部分也更改了造型，小改款後的323i在造型上更流線，一眼就能感受到性能氣息。頭燈細部的改變也是重點之一，角落的方向燈改用LED燈泡並且使用格柵狀排列，辨識度相當高，原本C形燈飾改為燈組上方的一字眉樣式，並與5系列車款一樣在角落加上三個黃色LED燈泡。
車尾的尾燈拉寬，過去的白色倒車燈已經被縮為一個細長造型，角落的方向燈理所當然的也採用LED燈泡，雖然用紅色燈罩包覆，但是亮起時仍然可明顯的辨識出黃光，此外導光條同樣運用在新車之上。
操控魅力
駕馭BMW車款絕對是一種享受，但是連日來的陰雨綿綿根本無法讓我們藉由323i來燃燒體內的辛烷值，再加上原廠只為我們安排了四個小時不到的試駕時間；眉頭皺皺，我們也只能抓緊時間感受323i的魅力。
在50：50配重的車體前方，塞著一具2.5升的直六引擎，這就是323i的動力心臟，其帳面數字為190hp最大馬力，最佳爆發時機在5900rpm，至於23.5kgm的扭力則是在3250rpm時出現，所搭配的變速箱為六速手自排，其極速則是達231km/h。在較低轉速時車室內有著靜肅性，重踩油門之後，高亢的引擎聲浪又能喚起操控的慾望，當然，底盤反應上有著BMW的調校水準，對於路面的反應雖然清楚但又不干擾駕駛，側傾也有良好的抑制，雖然動力並不算強大，但是優秀的操控感還是帶來極佳的駕駛樂趣。
